The last thing you need your security alarm app to be is buggy and unreliable, but there it is. Since they updated to this latest version, it has become terrible. More often than not, sending commands to arm or disarm the unit dont work. They time out with an error. Meaning, the sole thing you need it to do, doesnt work most of the time. Its always been buggy, randomly not working now and then, but for the last few weeks its become unusable.

Widgets are a great addition.

Cameras load much slower after latest update. When viewing multiple cameras at the same time some will not load. Previous version worked much better. Does alarm.com bother to test their updates before they release them?

The app was great the last update rendered saving the password to not work anymore. It used to be great. Now it wont hold the password so fingerprint and widget Functionality are worthless please fix. As of not I have to enter the username and password every time. Not good. Please fix!!!!!!

The App rarely works for me!! %99 of the time I receive error messages and it fails to Arm/Disarm my systems remotely. Will uninstall and downgrade the plan to just interact with the security system manually!!

Adding widgets = HUGE. I was ready to get rid of Asian.com. But they pull through. Widgets not only for actions but also sensors like to peek whether garage open or closed. Great!

This app makes it easy to set and disarm your alarm! We use it everyday and have never had a problem with it!

Like some others have said, there are times when it just wont arm or disarm the system remotely. An annoyance that has resulted in calls checking to see if we need assistance, more than once. Besides that the app seems to work as planned.

App never works. Unable to arm or disarm from mobile app - constantly getting error message. I pay more in order to have mobile access, not happy at all.

Weve given up on this app. Says system armed, but if you open door.... no alarm. Customer service just hangs up.

For the past three years I have used Alarm.com to access the security panel in a basement rental. I have moved to a condo and dont need a security system anymore -- but I am very interested in home automation. Unfortunately, given the sorry state of this app, I could not fathom using Alarm.com for that (or really any) purpose. Every other major home automation hub app has a vastly better and more attractive UI. Alarm.com seems to be constantly behind the times on iOS (they only just now rolled out a Today View widget). And Alarm.com updates extremely rarely, which is huge red flag for an app of this class. I did not choose Alarm.com, my landlords did. But I sure wish Alarm.com had given me a reason to stay.

So easy to control from my phone. I love the convenience of the app and the reassurance of the notifications.

Love the fact that I can turn off my alarm when Im not by the keypad using this app use, works well.

Basically doesnt work anymore. Cant arm, cant disarm. I call customer support and they basically say there is nothing they can do.

App continues to improve. I like the 3D/Force Touch and iOS 10 widgets. Very useful.

I have had this app for about two years. It worked well for about the first six months. Now it successfully (dis)arms remotely less than 10% of the time, if at all, giving an error message the rest of the time. Ive stopped issuing it. Undependable.
